Tune In was a fairly new, developing app that required some adjustments because it wasn’t connecting with its target audience and they wanted a more modern look. Tune In curates audiobooks especially for teens and young adults. The current design was brightly colored with yellows and oranges and graphics with kawaii-style
graphic characters. The design felt like the app was geared towards a younger audience (12 and under), but the content was for teens and young adults. The redesign consisted of a dark purple color scheme with a few bright pinks and teals for highlights, audio wave graphics,
speech bubble buttons throughout, and the use of photographs as opposed to graphics for the book images.
